In the Netherlands, many people worry about money. Recent figures suggest about 1 in 10 people face serious financial stress or struggle to make ends meet. That brings restlessness, sleepless nights and a sense of losing control.

Often that problem starts with one simple cause: they don't have a clear picture of their income and spending.

That's why I built My Pennies.

I believe sustainable money habits start with calm, clear oversight: knowing what comes in and what goes out. When you can see that clearly, you can make conscious choices, without constant stress.

My Pennies is a simple tool to help you get a grip on your money while keeping your data private. No ads, no subscription, no trackers. Everything stays in your own browser, because I believe honest money management shouldn't need big tech or a hidden business model.

I'm a software developer in the Netherlands and built this project in my own time, convinced that a small, clear tool can make a real difference.

Besides building apps, tools and platforms, I enjoy long walks, good food, and music from Eminem to Céline Dion and from André Hazes to André Rieu.

I hope My Pennies can bring you that same moment of calm and clarity.
